Duo Deck collects nothing, sends nothing, and has nowhere to send it to.

The short version
Duo Deck runs entirely on your iPhone. It has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and it makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing you type or save is transmitted anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, store or process any personal data. We cannot see your names, your answers, your favorites, your streaks or your Memory Capsule entries.
What the app stores on your device
So the game remembers where you left off, Duo Deck saves the following in its own private storage on your iPhone:
- The two player names and avatars you chose during setup
- Your tone setting (Sweet, Warm or Spicy) and your reminder, sound and haptics preferences
- An anniversary date, only if you choose to add one
- Which questions you have answered, which you starred as favorites, and your points, level and streaks
- Anything you write into the Memory Capsule
This data never leaves the device. It is covered by your iPhone’s own protections and is included in an iCloud or Finder device backup only if you have backups turned on — in which case it is handled by Apple under Apple’s terms, not ours.
Third parties
There are none. Duo Deck contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no tracking of any kind, and it does not share data with anyone. It has no in-app purchases and no subscription.
Children
Duo Deck is intended for adults. It is rated accordingly on the App Store, and the spicier decks are hidden unless a tone that includes them is deliberately selected. Because the app collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and everything it stored is gone with it. There is no account to close and no copy held anywhere else. If you would like a written confirmation of that, email us and we will send one.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above. Any change that affects what the app stores or sends will also ship as an app update you can choose to install.
